"Fancy Pass". Somewhere north of Leadville, Colorado
"Maroon Bells Loop".  This was a 2 day, 23 mile loop hike next to Aspen, CO.
September in Telluride should be visited at least once in life.
Fun day on Mt. Massive. Named so because of the amount of the mountain above timberline.
This is the start of the "MBL". It is a 23 mile loop hike covering four passes. This are the same mountains in the previous picture. This lake is at the base of the Bells after a 40 minute hike. This is the first of the four passes. Out of all of the hikes I have taken, this is always my favorite view. LIke always, the wind here is fast and loud. Going up the second pass. Could've had some better pictures were it not for the stupid clouds. The next few pics are at the top of the third pass. This whole areas seems like it is landscaped for the few who visit here. When you sit down to soak it all in, you sink into the ground because the soil so soft it has the texture of flour. The trail up the pass was hot and rocky. Maggie took advantage of the snowmelt to cool off. At least a weeks worth of hiking in this area. Notice the trail going up to the saddlle in the distance. Top of the 4th and final pass. With all of the gear on my back, I was exhausted when I got to the top. The dog was impatient.
Alaska in August of '08. It's a place you just have to go when you quit your job.
Why is the color different on each side of the rainbow?
This and that pictures.
